Grid Forward invited energy companies and utility initiative leaders to spread the word about their ground-breaking efforts in a live pitch competition at GridFWD 2019.
Preliminary rounds on october 8
Growth company edition - 10:20AM & 3:05PM - GRAND LOBBY
Seven growth companies have been selected to make their preliminary pitches over the morning and afternoon breaks on Tuesday 8th:
Utility Edition - 4:25-5:05PM - GRAND LOBBY
Additionally, four utilities will pitch their innovative projects and programs:
Idaho Falls, Bear Prairie — hydro/storage resiliency and black start project
Tacoma Public Utilities, Ahlmahz Negash — industrial DR project
Portland General Electric, Andy Macklin — heavy duty fast charge network initiative
Hawaiian Electric Co., Rich Barone — grid modernization investments

The four top ideas will advance to the final round on October 9th. Winners will be announced in the grand lobby.
